What makes Unified different from other gyms?
Unified is built for real families and real progression. We provide age-specific tracks, clear coaching standards, and one supportive culture for kids, teens, adults, competitors, and veterans.
Do I need any prior experience to join?
No! We welcome complete beginners. Our programs are designed to teach you from the ground up with patient, experienced instructors.
What should I wear to Jiu-Jitsu classes?
For your first class, comfortable athletic clothing (shorts and t-shirt) is fine. We'll help you get proper gear once you decide to continue.
How often should I attend classes to progress?
We recommend 2-3 classes per week for steady progress. Consistency is more important than intensity when starting out.
How do I know which class fits my child?
Share the child’s age when you request an intro visit. A coach will confirm the appropriate youth starting group rather than asking you to guess from an unapproved public age boundary.
Do you offer competitions or belt promotions?
Yes! We have a dedicated competition team (Order 66) and regular belt promotions based on skill development and attendance.
Are there any fitness requirements for Jiu-Jitsu training?
No fitness requirements. You'll get in shape through training. We meet you where you are and help you progress at your own pace.
